To the 35th Anniversary of the Chernobyl Disaster
On the 26th of April, 2021, is the 35-th anniversary of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, which became the largest man-caused tragedy of the twentieth century.
We are thankful to the thousands of heroes, who worked at the elimination of the accident. We remember victims and millions of people, for whom the accident became a personal disaster.
The explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, which is sutated just at the border between Belarus and Ukraine, affected in the most destructive way to the all neighbourhood regions.
As for our company, this day is an opportunity to remember the feat of the “Beltruboprovodstroy” labor collective. During first weeks after disaster in 1986 “Beltruboprovodstroy”, being the leading USSR constructing organization, had stood up at the front line of civil construction – our team took part in the housing construction for resettlement of the population from the Pripyat region to Mogilev. Just in the next year, our brigades already constructed for the infrastructure at the region affected by the Chernobyl catastrophe: our employees constructed gaspipelines in Loev, Khoyniki and Bragin – towns, which are situated just next to the infected area, and also participated in the construction of water supply stations in Gomel to provide the inhabitants of affected region with sustainable fuel and water as quickly as possible.
We are proud and thankful to all who has been involved in the minimization of the impacts of the Chernobyl catastrophe.
