Traditionally, at the end of the year many people sum up the previous year and make plans for the future. The outgoing 2021 year has pleased “BELTRUBOPROVODSTROY” JSC with cooperation with already well-known customers and opening of new promising opportunities.

BELTRUBOPROVODROY will write 2021 in its half-century history with the experience of projects implemented in Belarus and Russia.

Within the cooperation with the leading Belarusian oil and gas companies, our company has been entrusted with the most important objects of Belarusian industry and economy.

From May till November 2021 our workers were involved at once at 3 stages of construction of a new main oil pipeline “Gomel-Gorki” of Gomeltransneft Druzhba JSC (Construction works were ordered by Belgazstroi JSC, location of the facility – Gomel and Mogilev region, Republic of Belarus). The construction of a new oil main line has a huge national importance – it must to ensure autonomous operation of the Belarusian leading oil refining complexes. The project had an important social and economic significance for our company – more than 150 employees of BELTRUBOPROVODSTROY JSC were involved in the implementation of the project.

According to the contract terms 17,6 km of the linear pipeline were laid at three stages of construction of the main Gomel-Gorki oil pipeline; 4 closed pipeline crossings across the Rivers Dobrich (length 443 m), Kosolyanka (length 371 m), Krupka (length 459 m) and Pronya (length 487 m) were implemented by directional drilling; 23 closed pipeline crossings under the automobile roads with a total length of over 1000 m were built by auger drilling.

From June to December 2021 BELTRUBOPROVODSTROY has performed a set of works on the reconstruction and replacement of the pipe on the section of gas pipeline “Torzhok-Minsk-Ivatsevichi” to the north from Orsha (Vitebsk region, Republic of Belarus). The Customer is Gazprom Transgaz Belarus PJSC.

BELTRUBOPROVODSTROY JSC is the main contractor of Gazprom Transgaz Belarus for the maintenance service of the Torzhok-Minsk-Ivatsevichi main pipeline. Since 2018, our company has been involved in several phases of the reconstruction of the gas pipeline, partially fulfilling the reconstruction and maintenance plan for the country’s main gas artery.

Within the 2021-year order BELTRUBOPROVODSTROY JSC has replaced 12.83 km of the pipe in the linear part of the main pipeline and constructed 2 closed pipeline crossings over the road and railways.

The reconstruction work was completed due to schedule. More than 120 specialists and 63 units of specialised equipment were employed at this site.

Within the framework of cooperation with Russian partners in 2021, BELTRUBOPROVODSTROY has acted as a general contractor for construction work on two projects located in the Russian Federation.

In January 2021 our company started implementation of the project “Construction of an interfield gas and oil pipeline of the Severo-Komsomolskoye field” in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Region, Russia. The site is located in the Far North region. Due to the climatic peculiarities of the area and complexities of the pipeline construction in spring and summer period, the project is scheduled for two years. Construction of the pipeline in permafrost soils and extremely low temperatures requires special attention to health and safety controls, in addition to employee qualifications and reliable equipment. By the end of 2021, our team had completed the most challenging part of the work – implementing of three pipeline crossings under the Purpe River and laying about 30 km of the pipe. Now there at the site welding and insulating work on the linear part of the pipeline continues. By the project documentation there will be more than 140 km of pipeline laid at the site.

In autumn 2021 by Gazprom PJSC order BELTRUBOPROVODSTROY JSC has implemented an important project nearby Novy-Urengoy City (Western Siberia, Russia). From September to October 2021, our colleagues completed the project “Reconstruction (Replacement) of a Gas Pipeline Crossing under the Tab-Yakha River”. The project provided the construction of a closed pipeline crossing with the total length of 781 m by directional drilling technology. Construction was carried out using a PrimeDrilling PD-400/125 Mega-class drilling machine. The complexity of the project was due to permafrost inclusions in the ground and other geological conditions that were not detected during the preliminary geological research. Thanks to the efforts of the experienced BELTRUBOPROVODSTROY drilling team, the project was completed successfully and on time.

In addition to our production achievements, we are pleased to take stock of our organisational development – in 2021 our company continued its international growth. There a branch of BELTRUBOPROVODSTROY in Italy was opened. Our Russian branches in Moscow and St. Petersburg continue to grow and were supplemented with highly qualified administrative staff. The organization’s total staffing growth for 2021 is more than 150 employees.
